Most people face problems every day. It occurs for many of the small decisions made on a daily basis.
State the problem as clearly as possible.
Be specific about the behaviour, situation, timing, and circumstances that make it a problem.
1: Identify and define the problem
List all the possible solutions, ignore quality of the solution at this stage.If you be creative you may come up with solutions that you would not otherwise have thought
2: Generate possible solutions
The next step is to go through and eliminate less desirable or unreasonable solutions
Order & Evaluate remaining solutions in terms of their advantages and disadvantages
3: Evaluate Alternatives
Specify how the solution will be implemented and by whomwhen the solution will be implemented. For example: tomorrow morning, phone the person and talk about the matter
4: Decide on a solution
Implement the solution as planned, for example : call intended person and tell him about the problem and negotiate in your favor
5: Implement the Solution
Evaluate how effective the solution was.Decide whether existing plan needs to be revised or notif the new solution is to find then return to step 2 and process all steps again
6: Evaluate the outcome
