Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced on Twitter that he has tested positive for the coronavirus disease, so he is going into isolation at his home. Arvind Kejriwal The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief is now in isolation at his home.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted on Tuesday that he has been found positive with the corona virus in the corona test. That’s why he is now isolating himself at his home.

Kejriwal tweeted. That “I have tested positive for Covid. Mild symptoms. Isolated myself at home. Those who came in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get yourself tested.”

The AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) chief has made several visits to electoral states like Uttarakhand and Punjab to promote his party. AAP is trying to emerge as a strong force in both the elections.

On Monday, he addressed AAP’s ‘Nav Parivartan Yatra’ at Parade Ground in Dehradun.

In April last year, Kejriwal’s wife Sunita also became corona positive, her corona test also came positive. After which the Chief Minister had isolated himself.

Delhi is witnessing a huge increase in the number of COVID-19 infections, which is increasing more and more due to the new coronavirus virus omicron.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain told the state assembly on Monday that Omicron is now the main variant in the capital as the samples have been sent for genome sequencing. Evidence of very heavy mutation virus has been found in 81 percent of the samples.
Which is very worrying.

On Monday, 4,099 new cases of Kovid infection were reported in Delhi. Because the positivity rate in Delhi has increased to 6.46 per cent, both figures are at their highest level since May 18, when the city reported 4,482 new cases at a testing positivity rate of 6.89 per cent.

The rising positivity rate is a matter of great concern among health experts, and may lead to stricter restrictions in the national capital.

Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal will chair a meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Tuesday, which will be attended by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and top officials and experts.

Experts can be discussed and consulted in the meeting whether the national capital Delhi needs more restrictions due to the sharp jump in the positivity rate of Corona.

Currently, Delhi is on ‘Yellow Alert’ with the first level of restrictions. Under the Graded Response Action Plan (Grap), the positivity rate that is coming in the city of Delhi. He is demanding a high level red alert. Which mandates a complete lockdown. If this happens then there may be a complete lock down in Delhi.

Full curfew will be imposed under ‘Red Alert’, Delhi Metro will be closed, only essential private offices will be allowed to open, and malls will remain closed.

Essential shops will be allowed to operate in the city and only standalone (that is, no other shops in the vicinity of the shop) such non-essential shops can be allowed to operate between 10 am and 6 pm.
