Netflix has reduced the rates of its plans in India for the first time
Netflix has cut its subscription prices for the first time in India (Netflix this rates slashed in India). The company has announced its new prices in India which now starts at Rs 149 (Netflix Rs 149 Plan) instead of Rs 199 per month earlier. The new plans will be applicable to all customers.
Netflix has done this work to penetrate more customers in the country because it is the most expensive streaming service for Indian users. With the new plans, Netflix has decided to compete with other streaming services available in the country.

The Rs 199 mobile plan will now be available for Rs 149. Apart from this, the basic plan of Rs 499 will now cost Rs 199. The Rs 649 per month plan (Standard) will cost Rs 499 now, and the Rs 799 plan (Premium) will cost Rs 649 from now on. The new price is now going to give good competition to other streaming services in the country including Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar and more.

No change has been made in the benefits of these plans. Netflix mobile plan now starts at Rs 149 – This will play Netflix on a mobile or tablet with 480p resolution. In this plan, the account can be accessed from only one device at a time.

The Rs 199 plan will also get 480p resolution, but users can use the account on computers and TVs as well. In this too, the limit of the device also remains the same.
Netflix’s Rs 499 plan
The Standard plan is now priced at Rs 499 and comes with support for up to two devices at a time with 1080p resolution. Customers of this plan can watch the content on any device, be it mobile, tablet, computer, laptop or TV.
Netflix’s Rs 649 plan
The premium Netflix plan is now priced at Rs 649. And it can support up to four devices at a time. Subscribers to this plan can watch content up to 4K resolution and use all devices – mobile, or tablet, or computer, or TV.
